(More customer reviews)We recently received our juicer and are dissatisfied with our purchase. We felt compelled to write a review as we had also read the reviews here as part of our decision to buy this Lexen juicer. While this juicer is easy to clean, our complaint is the juicer produces a significantly low yield. In all fairness here is a quote from the juicer manual as to the expected procedure for getting the best yeild from the juicer:
"Step 5 - Take the pulp from the first pressing and place it back into the juicing Chamber as the first pressing is usually a bit moist until the pressure has been built up in the mechanism. If at any time the grass becomes wrapped around the auger or stuck in the juicing body. Press the off button and then use the reverse button to unclog, then press the on button again to resume juicing."
We experienced low yield with not just wheat grass but in juicing carrot, celery and spinach. We've resolved to using our other juicer because the yield is significantly greater.
If you intend on returning this juicer, you can find the return policy on the http://www.lexenproducts.com site:
"Q. Can I return the juicer if I do not like it?
A. You may return the juicer if it has not been used. A 10% restocking fee will apply. Postage will not be refunded. "
In other words, after we found that the yield was not worth the money in food product or time in producing the same yield as our other juicer, we are not able to return this product.
