(More customer reviews)I ordered this Tomato Strainer with high hopes of receiving a quality European product at, yes, a very low price, which should have served as a red light rather than a go-ahead. Upon opening the shipment box there came already the first annoyance - a bashed-up inner box in which was the strainer. No instructions provided so I had to figure out how to put it together. Thankfully, a fairly simple machine, but when assembled, I saw that the black plastic handle (the only plastic on the machine) had a small sharp protrusion that hurt my hand when test-cranking the machine. Also, hard to turn and EXTREMELY loud cranking mechanism. Not impressive - the kind of thing one would find in a European discounter store, if at all, but maybe they ship this kind of machine overseas in the hope that people won't notice the defects. I was very disappointed (should have known by the price not to expect too much!) and sent it back. Not something I would recommend, even to those of us who have a plastic phobia.
